For weeks now tensions have been running high between Pat McAfee and Austin Theory, and on Sunday night they faced off at WrestleMania 38. McAfee managed to pick up a victory when he rolled Theory up to get the win, but the action didn’t stop there.
After the match Pat McAfee stared down Vince McMahon as he was leaving with Austin Theory and he challenged him to get in the ring. Vince McMahon then took off his jacket, tie and shirt and stepped in the ring to confront McAfee. McMahon and McAfee stood face to face as Austin Theory hit McAfee from behind and a referee rang the bell.
McMahon kicked McAfee while he was down and Austin Theory interfered by pulling Pat into the ring post. Theory handed McMahon a football, and he teased kicking it into the audience, but he kicked it into Pat then pinned him to win the match.
After the match Vince McMahon demanded that his music be cut as Austin Theory walked around the ring and celebrated. Steve Austin’s music then hit and the Texas Rattlesnake made his way to the ring.
Austin delivered the Stunner to Theory then set his sights on Vince McMahon. Steve Austin gave Vince McMahon a beer and appeared to make peace with him, but he turned on Vince and hit him with the Stunner before stomping a mud hole in him as he drank more beers.
The celebration continued as Steve Austin invited Pat McAfee in the ring for beers, but McAfee ended up eating the Stunner as well.
