CM Punk is the person that everyone is talking about right now as he hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania.
With Punk being off TV for so long there have been various rumors making the rounds regarding his absence. One of the rumors claimed that Punk is off TV because creative doesn’t have anything for him, but that rumor is reportedly untrue. One way or another it seems that fans could be seeing The Second City Saint back on TV sooner than later.
False Finish is reporting that despite rumors regarding CM Punk’s status with WWE, he is expected to return to television relatively soon as WWE inches closer to SummerSlam.
The exact date for CM Punk’s return to WWE is unknown at this point in time, but it’s worth noting that WWE’s official website is advertising Punk for the July 6th episode of Monday Night Raw in Chicago.
CM Punk last stepped into the ring at WrestleMania 42 when he dropped the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns in the night 2 main event. The following night Punk appeared on Raw and teased a potential title match with current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
