Nikki Bella has been back with WWE for some time now, and she officially reunited with Brie Bella when Brie returned at the women’s Royal Rumble back in January. Following the show The Bella Twins made it clear that they had their sights set on the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
In recent months The Bella Twins have been working to become one of the top teams in the women’s tag team division, but Nikki unfortunately suffered an ankle injury a few weeks ago when The Bella Twins faced off against Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair on SmackDown.
Since then Nikki has been wearing a walking boot and there’s been some concern regarding her status for WrestleMania 42. Ahead of the big show Bodyslam is reporting that WWE is optimistic Nikki Bella will be able to compete on the Grandest Stage of Them All this weekend. According to the report Nikki Bella is scheduled to get her ankle checked out prior to SmackDown tonight.
If Nikki is able to wrestle then The Bella Twins will be facing off against Nia Jax & Lash Legend, Lyra Valkyria & Bayley and Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair in a four way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania.
