In recent months there have been a number of WWE departures and earlier this week it was reported that former WWE ID Women’s Champion Laynie Luck’s contract would be expiring this week. Now it’s been confirmed that two more names from the WWE ID program are no longer with the company.
Earlier this week Veronica West noted that her final match on Evolve aired on Wednesday’s episode when she posted, “Tonight was my final match on WWE Evolve. I’m grateful it was against you💚🩶🫀🪽
@Airica_Demia
Free on Tubi!”

Later on social media West confirmed her WWE departure when she added, “Though it was only for a few matches, I am super grateful for the opportunity the WWE and ID Program gave me. I was able to learn and perform with the best. This was just my first run, as I am SUPER new to wrestling and have A LOT to learn. They saw my (immortal) heart, and I owe it to myself, to them, and to my Angels to keep learning for the next opportunity.
You can follow me as Veronica West on the indie circuit 🩶🫀🪽
Please keep watching and supporting my friends on WWE Evolve (free on Tubi).
And most importantly….stay on Demon Time (and worship me!) 😈
Xoxo,
Veronica West”
Marcus Mathers also confirmed that he is done with WWE when he posted the following:
“As of this week, my time with WWEID has come to an end.
What an incredible two years it’s been. I’ve learned so much, gained invaluable knowledge and made friendships and memories that I’II always cherish. I want to thank WWE for their time! Time is the most valuable thing any of us can give.
So when this chapter closed, I did what I know how to do, l kept moving. I rolled up to The Dungeon and trained with some of the hungriest people in the world. Today I got Amazing Red, Tomorrow Nick Gage, match Sunday and match Monday.
Now my next chapter awaits and it’s up to me and my hunger to take me there. I’m in the drivers seat. I’m going to show up EVERYWHERE to fight”
