Business picked up in a major way on Saturday night as John Cena won the men’s Elimination Chamber match to set up John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.
Cody made his way out to the ring after the match, followed by The Rock and Travis Scott. The American Nightmare proceeded to decline The Rock’s offer which led to John Cena turning heel as he delivered a low blow to Cody. John Cena, The Rock and Travis Scott then beat Cody down as the show went off the air.
John Cena’s heel turn will be talked about for years to come, and Triple H recently shared a video showing how Travis Scott reacted to the angle as soon as he got backstage.
“This might be better than low-key performing,” Travis Scott said. “It was like a whole ‘nother vibe! It was so crazy cause like in the ring I was like, ‘Oh John, we about to be like straight bad guys!”
Triple H then interjected and said, “Wait until you’re in there doing it.” Travis then continued, “No. That’s what I’m sayin’ man. I already seen it, just off of that little rip. It get real. I’m already hooked.”
At this point in time Travis Scott’s next appearance on WWE programming hasn’t been announced, but it was recently reported that he has been training in the ring.
