Survivor Series is one of WWE’s most anticipated shows of the year, and on Sunday night stars from Raw and SmackDown fought for brand supremacy in traditional Survivor Series elimination matches.
For the men’s match Team Raw was made up of AJ Styles, Sheamus, Keith Lee, Riddle and Braun Strowman. On the SmackDown side the team was made up of Seth Rollins, Rey Mysterio, Jey Uso, Kevin Owens and Otis.
Seth Rollins got a lot of people talking on Sunday night when he sacrificed himself, “for the greater good” when he kneeled down and took a Brogue Kick from Sheamus before he was eliminated.
It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that his appearance at Survivor Series will be the last we see of Seth Rollins for a while.
Becky Lynch is set to give birth in a few weeks, so Seth Rollins will be taking some time away from WWE. It’s not exactly clear when he’ll be returning, but he’s expected to be back in time for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
