Back in October NXT went live on the USA Network, and it’s clear that NXT is much more than just WWE’s developmental brand nowadays.
Top stars in WWE have taken notice of NXT, and Randy Orton wants to feud with some NXT stars according to WrestleTalk.
According to the report Randy Orton has thrown around the idea of working with some names from the NXT roster, one of which is Tommaso Ciampa. Other names such as Adam Cole have also been discussed.
Following NXT TakeOver: In Your House Randy Orton took a shot at NXT on Twitter, and got a reaction from Tommaso Ciampa. It’s being said that the back and forth exchange angered Vince McMahon.
It’s also being said that if Orton and Ciampa do feud that the feud might take place on both Raw and NXT, as Vince McMahon is unhappy with NXT’s ratings.
There’s currently no word on when Vince McMahon might book the feud, as Orton is currently the front runner for a title match with Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam.
