NXT has gone through a lot of changes over the last few months as it was relaunched as NXT 2.0, and the brand has also lost several stars due to contract expirations, main roster call-ups and releases.
Now it looks like another top star could be parting ways with NXT as PWInsider is reporting that Kyle O’Reilly’s contract is set to expire next month. It was also noted that O’Reilly is currently listed as the number two babyface on the brand internally behind Tommaso Ciampa.
Kyle O’Reilly signed with WWE in 2017 and rose to prominence in NXT as a member of the Undisputed Era. He is a 3 time NXT Tag Team Champion.
It’s not known at this point in time if WWE is looking to sign Kyle O’Reilly to a new deal, but it’s believed that AEW and NJPW would have interest in him if he does become a free agent.
