A few weeks ago Jade Cargill’s AEW contract expired and she finished up with the company. Rumors of Jade making the jump to WWE immediately started making the rounds, and earlier today it was confirmed that she has signed a multi-year contract with the company.

Tony Khan commented on Jade Cargill joining WWE during today’s media call for the WrestleDream pay-per-view, and he made it clear that he wishes Cargill the best moving forward.

“I have only positive things to say about Jade, she’s always welcome here. She had a great run with us, and has a great career in front of her. Wishing her nothing but the best for the future.”

WWE confirmed that Jade Cargill started training at the Performance Center today, but there have been no formal announcements regarding whether or not Jade will be competing in NXT or on the main roster. It looks like WWE wants to keep fans guessing as the official X account for WWE has been asking fans when and where they think she will debut.

Stay tuned for updates.
