This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured two triple threat matches, one of which saw AJ Styles pick up a victory over Mustafa Ali and The Miz. Ciampa later went on to pick up a win over Chad Gable and Dolph Ziggler.
Ciampa and AJ Styles faced off later in the night and it was Ciampa who got the victory. At one point AJ Styles was knocked over the barricade, and The Miz held AJ’s leg as he tried to get back into the ring for the 10 count.
Styles managed to make it back in the ring, but Ciampa hit him with a knee to the face followed by the Fairytale Ending to defeat The Phenomenal One. After the match Ciampa celebrated in the ring with The Miz as it was announced that he will face Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship next week on Raw.
