The Young Bucks have been one of the more prominent tag teams in the world of professional wrestling for years now and they’ve been a huge part of All Elite Wrestling ever since the company was launched in 2019. However, it seems that The Bucks could be getting ready to step away from the ring.
Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that he’s heard The Young Bucks might be on their last wrestling contract. He also noted that The Bucks are set for life as far as their money situation is concerned.
“I’ve heard it discussed that this might be [Bucks] last contract. We’ll see what happens when the deal’s up. I mean, Adam Page will probably still wrestle for many more years.
Aside from Page, I’m not sure how much longer any of them are gonna go, because Matt considered stopping. Matt’s in his 40s, and they’re set. All of them, they’re all set for life. They’ve made a lot of money.”
It’s not clear how much time is left on their contracts, but Dave also pointed out that Matt Jackson has previously considered walking away from wrestling.
Currently The Young Bucks are scheduled to challenge Cope & Christian for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at the annual All In pay-per-view on Sunday, August 30th. Stay tuned for updates.
