Back in November of 2023, CM Punk shocked the world when he returned to WWE. Punk’s departure from WWE in 2014 was dramatic to say the least, but it seems like everything has been going smooth for CM Punk since he made his way back to the company.
During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, The Undertaker praised CM Punk when he said, “He’s actually very pleasant to be around… it’s like a different guy. It’s like a weight has been lifted off of him.”
The WWE Hall of Famer went on to reflect on CM Punk’s behavior during his first run with the company while talking about why his current run has been so different.
“Before he left the first time, he was very aloof, sometimes combative. One of those guys that wanted to fight for every hill, even if it wasn’t in a good way. Now, he’s cutting up with people, engaging in conversations. It tells me that’s probably a consistent thing for him now.”
CM Punk has been featured in some high profile matches since he returned to WWE, and he will have the opportunity to punch his ticket to WrestleMania next month when he steps inside the Elimination Chamber.
