The WWE commentary teams have gone through some major changes over the last few months as Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore were moved to SmackDown with Michael Cole and Pat McAfee taking over commentary duties on Monday Night Raw.

Corey Graves was moved to NXT as part of the shake up, and Graves posted a tweet following the move that seemingly indicated he was unhappy about the change. The tweet was later deleted, but the situation regarding where Graves stands with WWE has been unclear.

Recently Michael Cole commented on the situation during an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, and he noted that the issues are still being worked out between Corey Graves and WWE.

“I still don’t understand all the dynamics of it. I know that he sent something out on social media that was pretty critical of the company. He tried to explain to everyone that he was trying to generate some interest in maybe a type of a storyline. I don’t think the company saw it that way.”

“I think he and the company are working that out. I love Corey to death—he’s an unbelievable commentator. Beside McAfee, he’s probably the best partner I’ve ever had.”
