For many years The Undertaker was one of the most mysterious characters in all of professional wrestling. But it’s clear that The Undertaker is in the twilight of his career, and now he’s been showing a very different side of himself.
Things are obviously very different now, as The Undertaker is on Twitter, and he actually interacts with fans.
There was once a time when fans could never imagine talking to The Deadman on Twitter, and the former WWE Champion recently talked about his reasons for joining social media on The Bill Simmons Podcast.
I got a social media account, it’s probably less than two years, right? You know, the writing was on the wall. I got more matches behind me than I do in front of me. And, people are saying like, “dude, you need to get yourself out there because your wrestling career is coming to an end. Now, it’s time to cash in on the brand, you know, the stuff that you didn’t do all these years.”
The Undertaker’s WWE Network documentary “The Last Ride” has also been talked about a lot lately, as fans are finally getting a candid look at what the man behind the gimmick is like behind the scenes.
Part three is set to focus on the Brothers of Destruction vs. DX match at Crown Jewel in 2018, and it will premiere on the WWE Network on Sunday.
