NXT Roadblock aired live from The Theater at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night, and Oba Femi defended his NXT Championship against Moose. Ahead of the match Femi ran into The Undertaker backstage and the Hall of Famer had some encouraging words for the NXT Champion.
The Undertaker told Oba Femi that he’s been watching him for a while now, and he’s impressed. The Deadman continued as he said that he doesn’t need to tell Oba Femi how important this match is, all he needs to tell him is to defend his yard. Taker told Femi to go get some, then gave him a fist bump as the NXT Champion walked off.

When it was time for the NXT Championship match Moose made his way out first followed by Oba Femi. Both men got a big reaction from the fans. At one point during the match Oba Femi put Moose on his shoulders then picked him up and threw him over the top rope to the floor. Moose got back into the ring before the ten count, so Femi clotheslined him over the top and they both fell to the outside.
Moose put Femi through the announce table then threw him back in the ring and connected with a spear for a two count. He charged at Oba Femi again, but Femi picked Moose up then put him down with a Pop-Up Powerbomb to win the match.
