This week NXT Roadblock aired live from The Theater at Madison Square Garden, and the show kicked off in a big way as Fraxiom challenged The Hardys for the TNA Wrestling Tag Team Titles in the opening match.
The match was action packed with non-stop high flying moves from bell to bell as both teams pulled out all the stops. At one point went for a Twist of Fate as Jeff went to the top rope, but Axiom pushed Matt into the ropes and Jeff fell down. Axiom hit the Spanish Fly on Jeff off the top, then Nathan Frazer connected with the Phoenix Splash. Frazer pinned Jeff as Matt pushed Axiom into Nathan Frazer to break up the count.
Jeff managed to land a Twist of Fate on Nathan Frazer who kicked out at two. Axiom went to top rope as Frazer was holding Jeff Hardy, but Jeff moved out of the way and Axiom took out Frazer when he landed.
Matt then hit Axiom with the Twist of Fate and Jeff landed the Swanton Bomb on Nathan Frazer to win the match and retain the titles. After the match The Hardys celebrated in the ring with their title belts.
