When The Shield first debuted on the WWE main roster they were a force to be reckoned with, and wrestlers who crossed paths with the Hounds of Justice were often destroyed by the triple powerbomb.

The Rock felt the wrath of The Shield during his feud with CM Punk, and on the road to their WWE Championship match at the Royal Rumble in 2013 the trio decided to target The Great One on the go-home Raw before the show.

The Rock, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch recently joined former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz for an Instagram live session where The Rock explained that Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins had very different reactions to the powerbomb.

“You know what was really cool? When The Shield attacked me before WrestleMania and powerbombed me, and I remember Seth… I was on Roman’s shoulders. He threw me down so hard on that mat. Busted my blood vessels, blood started coming out of my mouth. Roman looked down and was like, ‘You okay, Uso?’ And as far as I can answer, Seth was like, ‘Who gives a s**t!’ and walks away.”

It’s been a while since The Rock has stepped into the ring, but he’s indicated that he’s open to wrestling a match. It’s been rumored for years not that WWE is hoping to book Rock vs. Roman Reigns for WrestleMania next year. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
