Samoa Joe is set to defend his NXT Championship against Finn Balor at the next NXT TakeOver event on June 8th and earlier today William Regal announced the stipulation for the match on Facebook. Regal announced that the two Superstars will be facing off in a cage match.
WWE held a live contract signing on Facebook from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando and William Regal showed footage of Samoa Joe and Finn Balor brawling at a recent live event. Regal says that their rivalry will end and he’s putting them in a cage to ensure the safety of the fans. He hyped up the fact that it’s the first cage match in NXT history.
Samoa Joe then told Finn Balor he won’t survive if he signs the contract. Balor responded by telling him that their feud will end when he becomes the first ever two time NXT Champion.
