shane mcmahon

Shane McMahon is the current Commissioner of WWE SmackDown Live, and although Shane rarely wrestles anymore, he’s been known to perform some pretty crazy stunts both inside and outside of the ring. Shane is a daredevil, that’s for sure, and luckily he’s survived all of his crazy stunts.

It seems that the son of Vince McMahon has always had luck on his side, and that luck came in handy this afternoon.

ABC7NY.com is reporting that Shane McMahon was involved in a helicopter crash off the shore of Gilgo Beach. According to the FAA, the Robinson R-44 helicopter landed on pontoon skids just before 10:30am. Shane McMahon and the pilot were the only two people aboard the helicopter, and neither man was injured.

Shane and the pilot were picked up by emergency rescuers who brought them back to shore, and NYPD Aviation and SCUBA units also responded to the crash.

The helicopter departed Westchester County Airport on Wednesday morning and it was en route to Kennedy Airport.

Shane McMahon is probably pretty well off when it comes to money, but if circumstances were different, he might want to think about buying a lottery ticket because at this point he’s pretty much a walking four leaf clover.

In all seriousness though, from all of us here at Still Real To Us, Shane McMahon, we’re happy to hear you’re ok. Stay safe.

  1. […] In case you hadn’t heard, Shane McMahon was in a helicopter on Wednesday morning after arriving in New York City. McMahon was in Birmingham Alabama for SmackDown Live on Tuesday night so he obviously makes good travel time. He was on his way home when the helicopter experienced some issues and a distress call was made in a pinch to pull off a nice emergency crash water landing. Luckily nobody was hurt and both Shane and the pilot were able to walk away from a near disaster. […]
