When she was in NXT, Asuka was a force to be reckoned with.
The Empress of Tomorrow destroyed her opponents as she went on to capture the NXT Women’s Championship, and she also racked up a very impressive win streak.
But Asuka hasn’t had the same success on the main roster, as her undefeated streak came to an end at WrestleMania 34, and she’s been struggling to find her place on the card ever since.
Asuka is without a doubt a unique talent, but it looks like her promo skills could be holding her back.
Dave Scherer recently noted on PWInsider Elite Audio (via CageSideSeats) that Vince McMahon isn’t using Asuka on TV because “she doesn’t speak good English.”
It’s unfortunate if this rumor is indeed true, as Asuka has a lot to offer the women’s division.
