Last week WWE made a shocking announcement when it was revealed that Big Cass had been released from his contract.
Cass had been working with Daniel Bryan for weeks, and he was featured on the last two WWE pay-per-views, but a few days after Money in the Bank he lost his spot on the roster.
Since his release there have been various reports making the rounds in regards to why he was let go, and one rumor claimed that Cass tried to reconcile with Carmella backstage, but when she tried to walk away, he grabbed her arm, and The Usos and Erick Rowan then stepped in.
However, Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports, who claims to be good friends with Big Cass, recently took to Twitter to shoot down the report about an altercation with Carmella.
I've been pretty silent about Big Cass' release from the WWE because he's a good friend of mine and it's just an unfortunate situation all around that I've felt really bad about, but this report that it's because of an "altercation with Carmella" is complete and utter bullshit.

It's disappointing that none of the names involved in the report have come forward to dispel the rumor like I figured they would, but hey, I guess if it doesn't make THEM look good it's not worth it, right? 🤷🏻♂️
