The last few weeks have been eventful for WWE fans to say the least. Some big things have been happening, and last week on Friday Night SmackDown, LA Knight defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to win the WWE United States Championship for the second time in his career.
Following the big title match there was a rumor making the rounds on social media claiming that Shinsuke will be parting ways with WWE when his contract expires. Fightful Select is now reporting that no one they’ve spoken to has heard that Nakamura is leaving WWE.
Shinsuke Nakamura originally signed with WWE and he quickly become one of the top stars in NXT. Throughout his run with the brand Shinsuke managed to become a two time NXT Champion.
In 2017, Shinsuke Nakamura was called up to the WWE main roster. He earned a shot at the WWE Championship when he won the 2018 Royal Rumble match, but failed to win the title when he challenged AJ Styles for the belt at WrestleMania 34. In the years that followed Shinsuke Nakamura would go on to become a one time SmackDown Tag Team Champion, two time WWE Intercontinental Champion and a three time WWE United States Champion.
