Years ago on the road to WrestleMania 34 anticipation for the show was at an all time high as Ronda Rousey’s WWE in-ring debut was one of the big attractions on the card. Ronda Rousey went on to achieve major success with WWE in the years that followed, but she finished up with the company after she was defeated by Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam in 2023.

Now Ronda Rousey is promoting her new memoir Our Fight which is set to be released next month. Rousey talked a little bit about the book during a Never Before Told interview and she indicated that she has no plans to return to WWE.

“Behind the scenes? How much of an absolute s**t show it is at the WWE because they can’t hold the story over my head and hold me hostage with my own career. I don’t need anything from them and I don’t intend on going back, so I can say everything that I think and feel while everybody else is still held captive by their organization.”

Ronda Rousey last competed in a wrestling ring during a ROH event back in November of 2023. At this point in time it’s not clear if she’ll return to the ring in the future, but she doesn’t seem to be interested in returning to WWE.

In her new memoir Ronda Rousey also shared her honest thoughts on Vince McMahon and you can get more on that here.
