This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featured a huge main event as CM Punk faced off against Seth Rollins inside a steel cage. Seth Rollins made his way out to the ring first. As soon as CM Punk entered the cage Rollins went right after him and the referee called for the bell.
At one point Rollins asked for the door to be opened and he taunted Punk as he gave him the opportunity to leave. Punk declined the offer and hit Seth Rollins with the GTS shortly after. Punk got Rollins in between the ropes and the cage then hit him with a running knee that drove Seth’s head into the cage. The Second City Saint returned the favor and called for the door to be opened as he taunted Rollins.
CM Punk hit two elbow drops off the top rope, but Rollins kicked out. Punk climbed to the top of the cage for another elbow drop. Seth Rollins followed him and they battled back and forth on the top of the cage. Seth fell to the top turnbuckle then grabbed Punk and superplexed him from the top of the cage.
They exchanged strikes back and forth for a while. Seth Rollins tried to hit the Pedigree, but Punk got of it, put Rollins on his shoulders and connected with the GTS for a two count.
CM Punk called for a third GTS as he put Rollins on his shoulders. As Punk attempted to hit the move Rollins grabbed Punk’s leg then put him in the STF. Punk reversed it into the Anaconda Vice, so Rollins raked Punk’s eyes to get out of it. He followed up with a Stomp for a two count.
Seth Rollins got up on the second turnbuckle as he prepared to hit another Stomp, but Punk grabbed Seth’s leg and got him with a third GTS. Rollins kicked out once again.
CM Punk then hit the Stomp on Seth Rollins and pinned him. Rollins kicked out at two and Punk called for the door to be opened. Punk started moving toward the door then looked back at Rollins who said yelled, “You want my house, take it from me you a******!”
Punk tried for the GTS, but Rollins reversed it into a GTS of his own. Seth Rollins then followed up with a Stomp for a two count. The Visionary thought about leaving through the door, but he stopped and went to the middle rope then connected with a Super Stomp on Punk.
Rollins sat in the corner near the door as he looked at Punk. Roman Reigns then returned out of nowhere and pulled him out by the neck. Rollins was declared the winner as he touched the floor. Roman Reigns hit ollins with the Superman Punch followed by a Spear at ringside. The Tribal Chief threw Rollins into the barricade then hit Rollins with the Stomp on the floor.
Reigns set Rollins up on the steel ring steps as he prepared for a Stomp, but he was stopped by WWE officials. Roman Reigns then looked in the ring and saw Paul Heyman checking on CM Punk. He became furious as he entered the ring and destroyed CM Punk. Paul Heyman looked on from the corner as the show went off the air.
