Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill have been feuding for months, and the two stars clashed last month on the Grandest Stage of Them All when Rhea defeated Jade to become the new WWE Women’s Champion.
Their feud continued on Sunday when Jade Cargill stepped up to challenge Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship at Clash in Italy. As soon as the match kicked off the fans made it very clear that they were fully behind Rhea Ripley.
Throughout most of the match Jade Cargill dominated Rhea Ripley as The Eradicator struggled to get any type of offense in. After a few minutes Rhea managed to make a comeback. She went for Riptide, but Jade reversed it into Jaded, and Rhea got out of it. She went for Riptide again, but Jade reversed it into a DDT.
Ripley hit a superplex off the top for a two count then Michin & B-Fab ran down. Jade hit Rhea with a pump kick while she was distracted, but Rhea quickly followed up with a Riptide on Jade. As Rhea pinned Jade, B-Fab put Jade’s leg on the bottom rope.
Charlotte Flair appeared then jumped off the barricade and took out Michin and B-Fab. As Rhea got back in the ring Jade hit Jaded on Rhea, but Charlotte put Rhea’s foot on the bottom rope.
Ripley followed up with a headbutt on Jade and Riptide to retain.
