Recently, there was a rumor that both The Bulgarian Brute and The Ravishing Russian were unhappy with WWE to the point where they both asked you their releases. That rumor was shut down by Lana, but there is still a lot of speculation about their respective WWE futures.

Rusev hasn’t been on a great run as of late. Since returning to SmackDown Live, he’s lost to John Cena and Randy Orton. Lana failed to capture the SmackDown Women’s Title almost a handful of times. The fact is the power couple were much better when they were together.
The WWE Universe has been wondering why Rusev and Lana are both on SmackDown Live, but they aren’t being featured together. During a recent interview with Al Arabiya English, The Raving Russian revealed the following about wanting to separate herself from her husband.
“One of the reasons why I don’t feel like I need to manage him right now is I feel like I’ve taught him everything I need to teach him, and helped him, and everything, and that’s why I have to go use my amazing ravishing ambition with other women to help bring them to the top. I think I had to help give him the ravishing ambition, and then. …Yeah, it’s more about promos. I think in wrestling and competing, he’s the best. With promos, I have to – we have to – I have to coach him. We have to go through, and I have to say, ‘Ok, let’s go through it like seven more times.’ Because when you have a conversation, and you talk, then when you yell, and scream, it means more. And people listen.”
