The stars of NXT stepped into the spotlight on Sunday when NXT TakeOver: In Your House aired on the WWE Network.
Monday Night Raw star Randy Orton ruffled some feathers when he mentioned the pay-per-view on Twitter and posted the following:
“Heard #WWENXT #TakeoverInYourHouse was great! Slappin my leg for you guys. Sincerely #legslap”
Former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa then fired back with:
“My daughter has been having trouble sleeping. Luckily I found a remedy. Randy Orton matches. Better than NyQuil. Sincerely”

The conversation didn’t stop there, as Orton went on to call Ciampa the “self appointed lockeroom leader of a wrestling school.”
