There’s been a lot of speculation regarding next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite as the company is promoting a tag team match that will see AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker face Saraya and a mystery partner.
Fightful Select is reporting that talent they spoke to said they’ve been “no sold” when asking if Sasha Banks will end up being Saraya’s mystery partner, but they still believe that it’s her. Talent who assume the mystery partner will be Sasha Banks referenced the cast of characters involved in the tag match, the fact that it wasn’t shot down internally or on screen, and how it will be a week after Sasha’s NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom.
However, due to Sasha’s contractual ties to WWE one talent did note that they didn’t believe a deal was done or could have been completed over last week.
Sasha hasn’t been subtle when it comes to dropping hints about her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom, but only time well if the former SmackDown Women’s Champion ends up making an appearance on AEW Dynamite next week. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
