The WWE Draft is set to kick off on Friday Night SmackDown and the big event will continue on Monday Night Raw next week. Triple H has promised that the 2023 draft will change the game and it looks like an interesting name will be on hand for the event.

PWInsider Elite is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long is being brought in for both Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw. At this point in time there’s no word on what Long’s role will be or if he could be returning to TV on a regular basis.

One way or another the WWE Draft is shaping up to be a big event as Triple H announced on Monday that each brand will have its own world champion once again. Triple H revealed the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship and declared that a new champion will be crowned next month at Night of Champions. The WWE World Heavyweight Championship will belong to whichever brand Roman Reigns is not part of following the draft.

Not only will the WWE Draft be kicking off on Friday Night SmackDown, but Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens will also be defending the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against The Usos. Stay tuned for updates.
