It’s been a long time since fans have seen The Rock compete inside a WWE ring, but with Roman Reigns on the rise there’s been a lot of talk over the last few years about Rock returning to face Reigns.

Roman Reigns and The Usos have been featured in the top storyline on SmackDown for months now, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that a possible tag team match has been discussed for WrestleMania.

The idea would be to have Roman Reigns team with an Uso to face off against The Rock and the other Uso brother so that The Rock can be protected from doing too much.

The singles match is the preferred match for Rock vs. Reigns at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, but the tag match would allow WWE to keep the storyline in the family, and any involvement with The Rock is preferred over him not performing at Mania.

The Rock last competed at WrestleMania 29 where he dropped the WWE Championship to John Cena, and he also faced Erick Rowan in a six second match at WrestleMania 32. Stay tuned for updates.
