WrestleMania 40 is quickly approaching and it looks like some big names will be featured on the card. The Rock recently issued a challenge to Cody Rhodes for a tag team match at the event, and fans are wondering if John Cena will be involved with WrestleMania this year.
Cena is set to film season 2 of Peacemaker soon, but there’s been some talk of him working WrestleMania 40 according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. At this point it depends on John Cena’s acting schedule.
It was also noted that if Cena does have things going on with his acting career then it’s likely that he won’t be doing anything that would be deemed a risk. If John Cena does end up appearing at WrestleMania the idea is for him to do something, fun, short, and memorable with substance.
Last year John Cena return to the ring at WrestleMania when he challenged Austin Theory for the United States Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Unfortunately for Cena it was Theory who picked up the win to retain the title.
