WrestleMania season is over, but it’s never too early to start talking about future locations for the Show of Shows. WrestleMania 43 is set to emanate from Saudi Arabia in 2027, and it looks like there’s a potential frontrunner when it comes to the location for 2028.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that they’ve learned from a city official that WWE is in active negotiations with Nashville, Tennessee about potentially bringing WrestleMania to the city.
If the deal is done WrestleMania would be held at the new Nissan Stadium which is set to be the home of the Tennessee Titans and open in 2027. It’s being said that city officials are hopeful an agreement will be reached and an announcement could be made soon.
Sources within Nashville have claimed that they are close to the finish line. It was noted that city officials have also claimed this in the past in order to add buzz to potentially getting the event.
Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer also recently reported that Nashville has put in a bid for $3.5 million dollars to bring WrestleMania 44 to the city in 2028. Alvarez wrote, “Nashville has put in a bid for WrestleMania 2028, $3.5 million dollars plus tax breaks.”
