The annual Royal Rumble premium live event is always one of the most exciting shows of the year as it officially kicks off the road to WrestleMania. Next year WrestleMania 40 will take place from Philadelphia, but WWE has yet to reveal where the Royal Rumble will take place from.
PWInsider Elite is reporting that the 2024 Royal Rumble will likely be taking place from Florida. Currently the two frontrunners for to host the Royal Rumble are Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg and Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Both locations are quite familiar to the WWE crew as Tropicana Field hosted the WWE Thunderdome from December of 2020 through April of 2021, and Camping World Stadium was the location for WrestleMania 33 back in April of 2017.
We’ll have to wait and see how things play out regarding which venue WWE chooses for the Royal Rumble, but it’s sure to be an eventful show as WrestleMania 40 is expected to be big. WWE is reportedly already discussing plans for the WrestleMania 40 main event and you can get more on that here.
