There’s been a lot of talk about WWE returns in recent weeks as it’s been rumored that former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore could be making his way back to the company. Now it seems that Enzo is set to return to WWE programming sooner than later.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the current plan is for Enzo Amore to join the NXT brand soon. It’s being said that there’s nothing official regarding Big Bill returning to the company as Big Cass, and his potential return is not something being heavily talked about within the company, but there is a lot of talk outside the company.
It was recently reported that Big Bill’s contract with All Elite Wrestling is expected to expire in late May, or early June. At this point Big Bill has been off TV for almost two months as he last appeared on the 4/6 episode of ROH.
Enzo Amore hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since he was released from the company in 2018, but he has remained active on the independent scene. According to recent reports promoters have been told that Enzo is no longer taking bookings, and the assumption is he will be heading back to WWE.
