Jacob Fatu has made it clear in recent weeks that he wants nothing more than to win the World Heavyweight Championship, and he’s currently set to challenge Roman Reigns for the title in a Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy.
Ahead of his match at Clash in Italy, Jacob Fatu faced off against Solo Sikoa in a street fight at the WWE live event in Liverpool on 5/28. Fatu managed to pick up the victory over Solo, but PWInsider is reporting that Fatu was seen limping after his match. At this point in time it’s not clear if Jacob could be injured, or if he was just selling.
Fatu first challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash, and while Roman retained the title, Fatu refused to let their feud end there as he challenged Roman to a Tribal Combat match.
This week on Raw a major stipulation was added to the Tribal Combat match as Roman declared that if he defeats Jacob then Jacob will have to serve him, and if he refuses Jacob will be fired.
One way or another it will be interesting to see what kind of condition Jacob is in at Clash in Italy, and what happens after the Tribal Combat match is all said and done.
