WrestleMania 39 is almost here and fans have seen some big returns in recent weeks with the likes of John Cena, Trish Stratus and Lita making their way back to WWE. There’s been a lot of speculation about more possible returns that have yet to take place and Big E’s name has been making the rounds.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that originally there was talk of Big E returning at WrestleMania to appear in a skit with The New Day. However, that idea was discussed before Kofi Kingston underwent surgery on his ankle and there’s currently no word on whether or not a return for Big E is still being considered.
It was also noted that there are a number of wrestlers who haven’t been featured on WWE programming that could return for appearances including Randy Orton, Matt Riddle, AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.
