nia jax

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featured a very interesting backstage segment featuring Enzo Amore, the Zo Train and Nia Jax. After Enzo gave the Zo Train a little pep talk, they walked away and he turned around to find Nia Jax staring at him.

After a few awkward seconds went by, Nia said, “How you doin?” then she walked away.

It looks like there’s a romance brewing between Nia Jax and Enzo Amore, at least on Nia’s and, and it could end up leading to Jax appearing on 205 Live.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez recently discussed the angle on Wrestling Observer Radio, and it doesn’t look like the segment was something that will just be blown off, but rather the beginning of a full blown comedy angle revolving around a potential relationship.

“She’s hitting on him. She’s going to be chasing the dude. So, that’s their storyline,” Meltzer said.

Alvarez then brought up how Alicia Fox was added to 205 Live when she was involved in a love triangle with Noam Dar and Cedric Alexander.

“She has to be on the show right? Alicia Fox was on the show during that deal,” Alvarez asked.

“Yup, you may very well be right. Since they’re putting all the stuff with the new women, building them up obviously for Alexa Bliss, it’s kind of taken Nia out of that main mix. So this is their idea of what to do with her,” Meltzer noted.

It’s worth noting that WWE recently sent out a survey asking fans about their interest in 205 Live, and one of the questions asked whether or not fans would be more interested if stars who aren’t part of the cruiserweight division appeared on the show.

So perhaps this could be the beginning of more Raw and SmackDown Live stars being featured on 205 Live. We’ll find out for sure tonight.
