It seems that the WWE roster is set to receive an influx of new talent in the next few weeks. The company recently announced that former MLB pitcher Rinku Singh has reported to the WWE Performance Center, and now it seems that some of the top independent stars from the independent wrestling scene will be joining him soon.
Ricochet, War Machine and Candice LeRae are all expected to be joining WWE soon, and over the weekend Ricochet and War Machine said their goodbyes to independent wrestling.
PWInsider is reporting it’s expected that WWE will be announcing several new hires this week including Ricochet, War Machine and Candice LeRae.
It’s also been speculated that a top Impact Wrestling star could be WWE bound as well.
At the Impact TV tapings in Orlando, Florida, this week, former World Champion Ethan Carter III was seemingly written out of the storylines. It was reported a few weeks ago that EC3’s contract with Impact was set to expire, and now it looks like he’s done with the company.
As far as his future with WWE goes, it’s being reported that there is “absolutely” interest in EC3 from WWE’s end.
The former Impact Wrestling World Champion previously wrestled in NXT as Derrick Bateman before he was released in 2013.
