Kevin Owens became the new WWE NXT Champion by defeating Sami Zayn at tonight’s Takeover: Rival event. Owens won the match due to referee stoppage after a series of powerbombs to Zayn.
Sasha Banks also defeated Charlotte, Bayley and Becky Lynch in a Fatal 4 Way to become the new WWE NXT Women’s Champion at tonight’s Takeover: Rival event. Sasha won after rolling up former champion Charlotte after having her in a crossface for an extended period of time.
