vince mcmahon

Vince McMahon is one of the most iconic and infamous wrestling personalities of all time, and it’s safe to say that without Vince McMahon, the wrestling would not be what it is today. Vince has had a massive impact on the industry and he’s turned WWE into a global phenomenon. McMahon’s life story is pretty interesting to say the least, and now his story will be told on the big screen as a biopic about Vince titled “Pandemonium” is moving forward.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that TriStar Pictures is set to produce “Pandemonium” and Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are set to direct. The script will be written by Craig A. Williams and “American Sniper” producer Andrew Lazar, Michael Luisi, president of WWE Studios, Adam Goldworm of Aperture Entertainment are all attached to the film as producers.

“Pandemonium” was being shopped around Hollywood last summer but studios hesitated on the film because McMahon had not blessed the script, and the studios didn’t want to antagonize Vince. Lazar secured McMahon’s life rights and the project recently started making the rounds again.

Multiple studios were reportedly interested in the film, but TriStar apparently went all out for their pitch.

In addition to the Vince McMahon biopic, The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions and WWE Studios are currently working together on a movie about Paige’s family titled “Fighting With My Family.” So, it looks like we’ll be seeing more of the wrestling world on the big screen over the next few years.
