The coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on the world, and WWE recently issued a statement confirming that an on-screen talent tested positive for COVID-19.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the positive COVID-19 test happened on the second day of the WrestleMania 36 tapings, but in theory it happened after the tapings, so no one working the tapings was said to have been affected. It’s been confirmed that it was someone on the broadcast team, but it is not Corey Graves.
It was thought that the workload would decrease after the first positive test, but the workload has actually increased.
It was also noted that both AEW and WWE have gone over 10 people at a time with their TV tapings.
