The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal returned to WrestleMania once again this year and the stars of the WWE battled each other as they attempted to win the coveted Andre The Giant trophy.
A few days ago Big Show confirmed that WrestleMania 33 will be his last WrestleMania, which means unless something changes, this was likely his last WrestleMania match. Big Show got a grand entrance followed by Braun Strowman.
Big Show and Braun Strowman seemed like the heavy favorites to win the match, but unfortunately they were eliminated early on. Some fans were hoping to see a few surprise entrants in the match, but the battle royal didn’t deliver in that regard.
In the end it came down to Sami Zayn, Mojo Rawley, Jinder Mahal and Killian Dain. Killian eliminated Sami Zayn and then Jinder Mahal beat down Mojo Rawley on the outside in front of Rob Gronkowski. Jinder threw a drink at Gronk and then got back in the ring. Gronk hopped the barricade and security tried to get him back in the crowd, but Gronk got in the ring and joined the match. Gronk hit Jinder with a shoulder tackle then Mojo got back in the ring and Gronk left.
Mojo eliminated Killian and then Jinder Mahal to win the match.
