Mick Foley returned to WWE earlier this year, and Mick has been working hard as the General Manager of Monday Night Raw. After all his hard work it looks like Mick Foley will be taking a little break for the next few weeks, as Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Mick Foley won’t be appearing on WWE programming until 2017.

The holidays are here, and we all know that Mick Foley loves Christmas. It looks like Mick will be getting into the holiday spirit, as Foley will be spending time with his family, and doing his Santa thing over the next few weeks.

“Mick is taking time off to spend the holidays with his family and do his volunteer work as Santa. He has not been released or fired,” a WWE rep noted to PWS. “He will return to Raw on Monday, January 2.”

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart recently spoke to Sports Illustrated about his wrestling career, Sharpshooter Funding, wanting to wrestle Kurt Angle and more. You can check out the full interview here along with a quote below.

“Since retiring, there’s only been one time I actually dreamed about wrestling. In my dream, I was wrestling against Kurt Angle. I had him clamped in a headlock. I was breathing hard and I remember telling myself: “This is only a dream, it’s not real.” But the longer I held Kurt in a headlock, I started to believe it was real. I focused on a square inch of fabric on the canvas and studied it. In my dream, I remember feeling this excitement telling myself that this was real, that I had Kurt Angle in a side headlock somewhere. Then, seconds later, I simply woke up. It was a dream. It would’ve been pretty cool for me to have that one chance to wrestle Kurt Angle one time.”
