There’s no denying that this year’s 30 man Royal Rumble match was loaded with big names. Roman Reigns entered the Royal Rumble for the first time in years, and CM Punk ended up eliminating both Reigns and Seth Rollins. Shortly after Punk eliminated Reigns and Rollins he was then eliminated by Logan Paul.
After Roman was eliminated he started to argue with CM Punk at ringside then Seth Rollins took it upon himself to hit the stomp on Roman. The Visionary didn’t stop there as he delivered another stomp to Roman Reigns on the steel ring steps.
Michael Cole announced this week on Monday Night Raw that they don’t have any specifics to share regarding Roman’s possible injuries because they can only share what Roman allows them to share. Cole stated that there would be an update on Roman Reigns’ status at a later date, but for now the word is that he’s out of action for the foreseeable future.
Later in the night Seth Rollins addressed Roman’s status during a promo and he claimed that Roman might not make it to WrestleMania. For now it seems that Roman Reigns has been written off TV, but it will be interesting to see what happens when The Tribal Chief makes his inevitable return.
Stay tuned for more updates on Roman’s status as they become available.
