It’s never too early to start talking about WrestleMania season, and next year the Show of Shows will emanate from Saudi Arabia for the first time ever. The expectation is that WWE will be bringing in some of the biggest names in the business for the event, and fans have been wondering if The Rock will be a part of WrestleMania next year.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that the WWE creative team is currently operating under the assumption that The Rock will not be available for any substantial storyline participation during WrestleMania season next year.
A source indicated that things could always change, but as of right now WWE is moving forward with the expectation that The Rock will not be involved with a major storyline at WrestleMania 43.
The Rock has not appeared on the Grandest Stage of Them All since WrestleMania where he teamed with Roman Reigns on night 1 and later interfered in the main event of night 2. Last year The Rock kicked off a major storyline with Cody Rhodes which led to John Cena turning heel at Elimination Chamber. It seemed that The Final Boss had formed a major alliance with John Cena and Travis Scott during the segment, but there was no follow up and The Final Boss has not appeared on WWE programming since the 2025 Elimination Chamber premium live event.
