You never know who might show up at a professional wrestling show and on Friday night Ronda Rousey debuted with Ring of Honor during the TV tapings. Rousey teamed with Marina Shafir to face Athena & Billie Starkz which left a lot of fans to wonder what the future holds for The Baddest Woman on the Planet.
Fightful Select is reporting that the hope is Ronda’s appearance in ROH will help to generate some subscriptions for HonorClub. However, as of Friday night Ronda Rousey had not signed a contract with AEW/ROH.
Ronda Rousey worked on a handshake deal during the tapings on Friday night, and it’s being said that her recent appearances in Lucha VaVoom, ROH and Wrestling Revolver have been put together because she wanted to work with Marina Shafir.
It’s also being reported that Ronda Rousey was never considered to be the big signing revealed at AEW Full Gear tonight. Stay tuned for updates.
