Following WWE Backlash everyone is talking about Asuka’s status as she seemingly said goodbye after she was defeated by Iyo Sky at the premium live event over the weekend. There’s been a lot of speculation regarding what the future holds for Asuka, and it’s even been reported that the former champion is semi-retired following her match with Iyo Sky. One way or another it looks like we’ll be seeing Asuka again very soon.
Fightful Select is reporting that they’ve confirmed Asuka will be taking some time off, but she is planned for tonight’s episode of Raw. The word is that Asuka’s time off has been planned for a while now, and is not related to the recent cuts.
