The road to WrestleMania has been action packed over the last few months and business picked up a few weeks ago when The Rock officially joined The Bloodline. The Great One is set to appear on SmackDown this week and it looks like he could potentially come face to face with one of WWE’s top stars.
PWInsider is reporting that current plans call for Cody Rhodes to be at Friday Night SmackDown this week. Over the weekend at Elimination Chamber, Cody Rhodes called out The Rock and made it clear that he wants to face the former WWE Champion in a one on one match.
This week on Raw, Cody Rhodes picked up a big win over Grayson Waller in the main event. After the match Rhodes was confronted by Paul Heyman accompanied by three men in suits who Heyman claimed were NYPD. Rhodes ended up taking out the officers as the show went off the air.
In addition to this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown it’s also been confirmed that The Rock will be appearing on the 3/8 and 3/15 episodes of the show.
