The stars of WWE have been busy over the last few days as they are currently on the road for the holiday tour. On December 28, LA Knight faced off against Santos Escobar at the live event in Baltimore, MD, but Knight revealed ahead of the match that he got into a car accident on his way to the show.

The former WWE United States Champion described the accident as a “fender bender” as he described what happened while speaking to fans at the arena.

“It wasn’t an easy road down here. I’ll tell you why. Earlier today, I was driving down I70. Got a little fender bender. Somebody decided to bang it into my car.”

LA Knight noted that when he called the car rental company to tell them about the incident they asked him if he could stay at the scene. However, Knight told them he had to get to Baltimore to stomp out “some dummy.” He then went on to defeat Santos Escobar in a singles match.

It’s certainly unfortunate that LA Knight was involved in a car accident, but luckily he seems to be doing ok as he was able to step into the ring after and pick up a win.

Stay tuned for more updates on LA Knight’s status as they become available.
