Kurt Angle is an Olympic Gold Medalist, a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and a WWE Hall of Famer. Angle has one of the most impressive resumes on the history of professional wrestling, but yet fans still chant “you suck” at him every time he makes his entrance.
The “you suck” chants caught on back in the day as Kurt Angle was climbing the ladder in WWE, and he played them up on TV.
Nowadays fans still chant “you suck” at Kurt Angle, but they do it with love almost as if it’s a sign of respect.
A fan recently shared a video of a Kurt Angle action figure which plays Angle’s music, Kurt Angle responded to the video with the following:

Former WWE Superstar Dan Severn recently appeared on the Duke Love Rasslin podcast, and when he was asked about working with Vince McMahon, he said that he feels he was used really well in the beginning of his run, but some of the ideas that were pitched sounded crazy.
“He will get away with whatever he think she can get away with. I was used really well in the beginning and when they realized they had no control mechanisms over me, that’s when creative started throwing me some crazy angles. I was first billed as a no-nonsense babyface that just took care of business and Jim Cornette was my mouthpiece. All of a sudden, they pitch me ideas when they want to tattoo a 666 on me, the mark of the beast, and all of these other crazy ideas.”
